Bank statement to Excel converter
Drop a PDF bank statement and download an .xlsx with real dates, real numbers and a Summary sheet that shows whether the statement balanced. Text PDFs are read in your browser and never uploaded.
Exports to Excel · CSV · QBO · OFX · QFX · Xero · Tally
How it works
Three steps. No upload.
The whole conversion runs in your browser tab, so your statement never reaches a server.
- 01
Drop the PDF
One statement or up to 100 at once. A password-protected PDF asks for its password in your browser.
- 02
Check the review screen
Every row is in a grid you can edit, add to or exclude. The status reads Balanced, or Off by an amount.
- 03
Download the workbook
Each statement becomes its own .xlsx. Several statements download together as a zip with “Download all”.
The balance check
The workbook says whether it adds up
Before the .xlsx is built, we add up every row and compare the result with the opening and closing balances printed on the statement. A Summary sheet inside the workbook keeps that result: opening balance, credits, debits, the statement’s closing balance, our calculated closing, the difference, and “Balanced” or “Does not balance”.
That matters in Excel because a missing row doesn’t look missing. The totals still look fine until someone reconciles against the bank. When a statement prints a running balance, the review screen also points at the row where the running balance first stops adding up.

Two sheets: Transactions and Summary
This is the layout of the workbook, using a made-up statement. Dates are stored as dates and amounts as numbers, so sums, filters and pivot tables work straight away.
