What we ship
Tableaf is built on open-source software. Thank you to everyone who writes and maintains it. These are the main pieces, with their licences.
| Project | Licence | What it does here |
|---|---|---|
| pdf.js | Apache-2.0 | Reads the text and layout of PDF statements, in your browser. |
| SheetJS Community Edition | Apache-2.0 | Reads Excel files and writes Excel output. |
| React | MIT | The interface of the converter. |
| fflate | MIT | Builds zip downloads. |
| Astro | MIT | Builds the website. |
| Tailwind CSS | MIT | Styles the website. |
| Geist and Geist Mono fonts | SIL Open Font License 1.1 | The typefaces, served from our own domain. |
| Lucide icons | ISC | The small icons. |
Their own dependencies carry licences too. Those are listed in each package’s files.
Licence notices
Each project’s licence text and copyright notice come with its package, and apply to that project. The Apache-2.0, MIT, ISC and SIL Open Font License 1.1 licences all allow us to use, bundle and serve these projects, as long as we keep their notices. Our own site code is not covered by these licences.
The Geist fonts are copyright The Geist Project Authors, and Lucide is copyright Lucide Icons and Contributors. We don’t use the names of these projects to suggest that they endorse Tableaf.
If you want a copy of a licence or notice, or think one is missing, email support@tableaf.com.
